Edu Fair was Held by Untirta to Socialize SNMPTN & SBMPTN to High School Students

Cilegon, January 15 2020 – University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, represented by the Head of Sub Divison of Public Relations and Coordinator of Information and Communication Technologies of Computer Based Test (UTBK), held an Edu Fair to socialize students at SMAN 3 Cilegon. This event was conducted in preparation of the Selection of New Student Admission through SNMPTN (National Selection of State University Admission) and SBMPTN (Joint Selection of State University Admission). Several state universities and private universities were invited as well.

The aim of the Edu Fair was to inform the students about each admission paths for state university admission and how to register. “Edu Fair is so beneficial for students, especially students of SMAN 3 Cilegon to dig into further information of the registration of every admission paths for state university admission, such as SNMPTN, UTBK, and SBMPTN.” the Vice Principal of Student Affairs of SMAN 3 Cilegon, Andri Martadinata, S.Pd explained.

Referring to the previous experience that there were many renewal in state university admission year by year, Coordinator of Information and Communication Technologies of Computer Based Test (UTBK) said, “This year’s Computer Based Test (UTBK) is different from last year. This year, UTBK is conducted for a week. Each day consisting of 2 sessions and each student is only allowed to take one exam”. Students only need to register via the LTMPT web with the Single Sign On system that can be used for SNMPTN, UTBK, and SBMPTN registration to participate in the SNMPTN-SBMPTN selection.

Veronica Dian Faradisa, M.M, the Head of Sub Divison of Public Relations of Untirta explained that University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa had 3 (three) admission paths, which were SNMPTN with the minimum presentation of 20%, SBMPTN with the minimum presentation of 40%, and Independent Test with the maximum presentation of 40%.
